Stewart Travel Group become “Champions” for the Stars for Life Foundation for Autism
(Charlottetown, PE) November 28, 2022 – Owners Travis & Paula Stewart donate over $50,000 in 2022 through their two guided “Jim Cuddy & Friends” Danube River Cruises this year.
The Stars for Life Foundation is overwhelmed by the generosity of the guests on this special River Cruise where tickets were sold to have an intimate dinner with Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo and Friends (Anne Lindsay, and Cuddy’s sons Sam Polley, and Devin Cuddy).
Stars for Life extends a heartfelt Thank You to all the River Cruise guests that participated. As well, a special Thank You to Travis & Paula Stewart of the Stewart Travel Group, whose company is committed to giving back to the PEI Community as part of their corporate beliefs.
The monies raised is “a real shot in the arm” for the Foundation’s efforts to build and equip two new small option group homes for adults with autism to be built over the next two years.
The Stars for Life Foundation is a not-for-profit group on Prince Edward Island which provides services to adults with autism when they leave the school system. Our mandate is to provide life-long living and learning opportunities through programs which help them keep connected to their communities as well as improve their living, social and communications skills.
