Supporting Adults with Autism Across PEI.
Our Mission
Stars for Life Foundation is committed to creating a quality of life for young people with autism spectrum disorder, fully included in their community; with a commitment to continued education, life and job skills training and inclusion.
At Stars for Life, we believe inclusion is not optional, it is essential. We provide structured, innovative programming that equips youth and adults with autism with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive beyond the school system.
Help Build the Future of Stars for Life
Our Capital Campaign is Underway
Stars for Life is growing. As the need for services continues to increase, we're launching a capital campaign to create a permanent home designed specifically for the individuals we support.
This project will provide accessible, purpose-built spaces for skill development, community engagement, recreation, sensory supports, and lifelong learning, ensuring adults with autism have the opportunities and resources they deserve for generations to come.
Our Services
-
Stars for Life provides structured, year-round day programming for adults (18+) with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our day program services are designed to support continued learning, independence, life skills development, and meaningful community inclusion in a safe and supportive environment.
Programming operates Monday through Friday, with individual attendance schedules based on each participant’s assessed support level and available funding.
Each participant’s experience is individualized, with goals tailored to their strengths, interests, and support needs.
-
Stars for Life operates a small, supportive residential program designed to provide a safe, stable, and home-like environment for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
We intentionally view our residence as a home, not an institution, where individuals are supported with dignity, respect, and individualized care.
Our primary location includes:
Five supportive residential spaces
Two independent living spaces designed to help higher-functioning residents build confidence, independence, and daily living skills before transitioning further into the community
Residential supports are government funded and staffing levels are determined based on the individual needs of each resident.
-
Stars for Life operates from a purpose-designed 10,000 square foot facility that supports structured programming in a safe, welcoming, and growth-focused environment.
Our space includes multi-use programming rooms, skill-building areas, community gathering areas, and enhanced sensory supports designed to meet a wide range of participant needs.
This environment reflects our long-term commitment to stability, dignity, and innovation in autism services.
